Terms & Conditions — Big Society’s Ibiza Prize Draw

1. Promoter

This prize draw is organised and promoted by SUBURBAN VILLAGE PUB COMPANY LIMITED (Company No: 10988833) T/A Big Society, 59 Longlands Lane, Findern, Derbyshire, United Kingdom, DE65 6AH. (“Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
  • Employees of the Promoter, its group companies, agents, or suppliers, and their immediate families are excluded.
  • To qualify, entrants must complete the entry form in full and opt in to receive both email and SMS communications from the Promoter. Entries without both opt-ins will not be valid.
  • Proof of age and identity may be required before awarding the prize.

3. How to Enter

  • To enter, scan the QR code or access the entry form via Big Society’s website. Provide your name, email address, and mobile phone number, and tick the required marketing consent boxes.
  • No purchase is necessary. Entry is free.
  • Additional entries may be earned as follows:
    • Each qualifying transaction via the me&u QR code ordering system made at Big Society during the promotional period counts as one extra entry. User must be logged into me&u using the phone number provided when entering for a valid entry.
    • Entrants may earn one additional entry for following the Promoter’s official Instagram account (@bigsociety) and one additional entry for following the Promoter’s official TikTok account (@bigsocietyoxford). This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram or TikTok.
    • To claim these bonus entries, entrants must provide their Instagram and/or TikTok username on the social entry form.
    • Bonus entries are subject to verification. If an entrant selected as a winner cannot demonstrate to the Promoter’s reasonable satisfaction that they follow the relevant account(s) at the time of the draw, the bonus entries will be deemed invalid and removed.
    • The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of social media follows (such as showing the “Following” status on the entrant’s account) before confirming bonus entries.
  • Entries are recorded in the Promoter’s secure database and/or spreadsheet system. Entrants may request confirmation of their entry by contacting app@urbanvillagepubs.com.

4. Promotional Period

  • The promotion opens on 19.09.25 at 9am and closes on 09.10.25 at 23:59 (the “Closing Date”).
  • Entries submitted after the Closing Date will not be accepted.
  1. Prize
  • The main prize is presented as an Ibiza holiday for two people, awarded in the form of a lastminute.com gift voucher up to the value of £450. This value is based on the approximate cost of a two-night stay in a 3-star hotel in Ibiza in late October, though actual prices may vary. The winner will be responsible for making their own booking through lastminute.com and complying with its terms and conditions.
  • Travel must be booked and taken within 6 months of the Closing Date. Blackout periods may apply, including but not limited to UK school holidays, bank holidays, and other peak travel dates as determined by availability.
  • The prize does not include travel insurance, spending money, meals or beverages (other than those expressly included in the hotel package), airport transfers, or any other incidental costs. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
  • If the advertised prize is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.

6. Bonus Prize — Live Draw Attendance

  • At the live prize draw event at Big Society on 12th October 2025, one additional prize of a £50 bar tab will be awarded if the main prize winner is present during the prize draw. Attendance is not required to win the main prize, only the bonus bar tab.

7. Winner Selection

  • The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries using an independent, auditable randomisation process.
  • The draw will take place on 12th October 2025 at 4pm.
  • The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. Notification & Claiming the Prize

  • The winner will be contacted via email and/or SMS within 7 days of the draw.
  • The winner must respond within 14 days to confirm acceptance of the prize. Failure to respond may result in the prize being forfeited and an alternate winner being selected.
  • If a winner can not be contacted, we will redraw a maximum of 3 times before the prize is withdrawn and no further prize will be awarded.
  • The Promoter may require proof of eligibility (e.g. age, identity, and residence) before awarding the prize.

9. Multiple Entries & Fairness

  • Multiple entries are permitted, provided each follows the rules in Section 3.
  • Automated, bulk or third-party entries will be disqualified.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it reasonably believes has breached these Terms & Conditions, acted fraudulently, or attempted to manipulate the entry process.

10. Data Protection

  • By entering, you consent to the Promoter processing your personal data (name, email, phone, order transaction, social media handles) for the purposes of:
    • Administering the prize draw.
    • Communicating with you about your entry.
    • Sending marketing communications by email and SMS (which you may unsubscribe from at any time).
  • Data will be stored securely and handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Personal data will be retained for the duration of the promotion and up to 12 months thereafter, unless you continue to receive marketing communications.

11. Publicity

  • The winner’s name and county may be announced publicly in accordance with the CAP Code.
  • The winner’s surname and county will be made available on request by emailing app@urbanvillagepubs.com, unless the winner objects.
  • By entering, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the prize draw, including use of their name, photograph, and/or likeness, without additional compensation, unless legally prohibited.

12. Liability

  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, corrupted, or not received due to technical issues.
  • The Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of entering this promotion or accepting the prize, except where caused by its negligence or fraud.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for third-party prize providers (lastminute.com).
  • The Promoter is not responsible for the cancellation or alteration of flights/hotels by third-party providers.

13. General

  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so due to reasons outside its control.
  • Entries must not contain offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content. Such entries will be disqualified.
  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
